“A Culpa É das Estrelas” levou o prêmio de melhor filme do ano no MTV Movie Awards, neste domingo (12). O filme venceu também nas categorias de melhor atriz (Shailene Woodley) e melhor beijo (Ansel Elgort e Shailene Woodley). O prêmio foi anunciado por Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
Entre os principais troféus entregues estão o de “best musical moment” (melhor momento musical, em livre tradução), para Jennifer Lawrence, que entoa a sombria música “Hanging Tree” em “Jogos Vorazes: A Esperança – Parte 1”; melhor vilão para Meryl Streep, por “Caminhos da Floresta”, melhor ator de comédia para Channing Tatum por seu papel em “Anjos da Lei 2”; e melhor ator para Bradley Cooper, por “Sniper Americano”.
Jennifer Lopez também ganhou um troféu na categoria “scared as shit performance” (algo como “assustada pra c******”) por seu papel em “O Garoto da Casa ao Lado”, apesar de o filme ter sido massacrado pela crítica.
A edição deste ano do prêmio é apresentada pela comediante e atriz Amy Schumer e é transmitida ao vivo (sem legenda) pela MTV desde as 20h. A festa ainda conta com apresentações musicais dos grupos Fall Out Boy e Fifth Harmony, das cantoras Becky G e Charli XCX, e do DJ Zedd (com participação especial de Selena Gomez).
